Full Bench Seat

Sup all,
I was thinking of somehow putting a full bench seat in my truck. I dont like the 60/40 and right now I have buckets. Its an 03 single cab edge. Any websites where I can buy a bench seat or any pics of anything like this? I already have good ideas on how to fab it once I find one for sale. Thanks.

your buckets?

Are you going to sale your current buckets? What do they look like? Color? Include a center console? A photo, or two, would be nice.

I suppose you could buy an old s10 or old ranger bench w/o the split. Get it recovered, and make new brackets. Or your could modify your current seats by welding the 2 halfs together at the sliders and have a shop modify the top of the seat to go al the way across. Just some ideas. But for me, i think bench'in a new compact truck is just worthless.

look for a ranger XL that has a bench and have it recovered. I know all the rangers that we have at work are fleet trucks and they have vinyl bench seats.

yea......but what year rangers. I think the early 2nd gen rangers had full benches.

I'm thinking the easiest way to do a full bench is to grab a XL vinyl 60/40, and have it reconfigured by welding the sliders in the same position/the sections together. Have the seat and back reconfigured to one piece by adding more foam and making into a, well, bench seat.

Ah heck....i dunno.

The rangers we have at work are 2001 and up. I'm sure that there would not be too much trouble to adapt them to his. Now they are fleet trucks and I'm not sure how hard they are to find. Good luck.

Thats the same link I posted. Looks like you can either drill new holes in the floor and use the mounts it comes with. Or what I wanted to do is rig it up on the existing seat tracks. That way I can move it forward and backward still for access to my stereo. It will be a pain though releasing both tracks at once how I plan to do it so far.

I have a 2000 3.0L XLT 4WD Ranger. I need to replace my front bench seats. I found a 97 Chevy S-10 bench seat for sale. Does anyone know if that bench seat would fit in my ranger?

Thanks
