I've always liked the look of the side grab handles in the 2004 up rangers.. anyone have this done.. good idea?

 

this came up a long time ago once I think...

Don't quote me on this, but if I remember right, you'd have to get the new a-pillar pieces, the handles, and also some sort of support bracket or something to make it work with your 2000. My truck is parked 30 minutes away right now, but hopefully someone who can take their truck apart more easily than me can help you out with the specifics of what's back there.

 

you mean the ones on the a pillar right? i think the problem is that there are mounts under those ( the grab handle actually bolts to the truck) and we dont have them on ours... i have not thought to look though


***edit*** okay i went to my truck and there are holes under the pillar but they are not threaded. i am not sure if they would even line up...

 

thats true about the holes.. i'm guessing we would need to weld bolts for them.. prob not worth the hassle
