has anyone tried this

has anyone tried to mount some off road lights kinda like how the jeeps do

right where its circled i think it would look prety good if i could find out a way to mount a bracket

Only issue I see.....is how the outside A pillar is the door on 93+ rangers. So you'd be opening the door with the light.

I do know that you can mount police style spot lights on rangers with a ranger install kit....a mod on my to-do list.

even with the door being the a pillar i dont think it would be a problem if the doors arnt slammed you kno?

i just think the hard part would be is figuring out a way to make a bracket for the light itself since we dont have bolts like the wrangler does

I think it has potential to look pretty sweet. Specially if you have fogs already on your truck.

yea i think it might look good im gana probly try making up diffrent brackets tomarow ill let yall kno how it goes

why not try making a light tab to go in the door jam so it doesnt get slammed around on the door

thats a good idea to somthing to think about

im still runnin alot of ideas just cant think of a ok way to mount it up yet

why not try to mount the light on the front side of the mirror, like flush mounting, or something kind of like the new FJ mirrors.
