Opinions on which headlights would look good on a 1998 green Ranger. I was thinkin one of the halo ones...

Crystal clear with no projectors.

 

I like projectors!

 

Unless you are blacking out the rest of your truck, go with the crystal clears. Make sure you get the clear marker lights too.

Honestly it is your truck, but if it was mine, I would get the clear corners first, and then the headlights

 

Ya i mean no offense to anyone but i have seen some hispanics rangers with the all clear headlights and i try to stay away from looking like that. Do you think it would be too much?

Crystal clears and clear corners all the way. I also do not recommend projectors unless you go HID. I spent $400 on projector lenses from Germany for my Cadillac Catera and I didn't use HIDs and they were worse than my stock headlights.


BTW a little thread jack, but those 98-00 Ranger headlights look VERY similar to my 02 Mazda headlights...I wonder if they'd fit?

 

those projectors are crap, if you want them soo bad just do a retro swap for the real deal projectors...

Awww halvsies lol. Idk anyone with a 98-00 Ranger anymore....do you? See if you could swap them?

 

I pm'd Marcaronio who did the swap on his truck and he said they are different.

I was rather disappointed to hear that.

 

i just put those exact headlights on my green 2000 and they look amazing

ahahaha so i ordered those exact black lights for my mazda last week, without looking at this thread.. they are being delivered tomorrow so i will see if i can make em work? hahah

 

i have the clear projectors and corners and i love them and soon i will be putting in hids

 

I seen a mazda with the 98-00 lights in it last night, I just cant remember where it was. It didnt look bad, they just didn't quite line up with the fender.
