Here's the scoop with a side order of a Noob question.......

Im purchasing (5) 32x11.5 BFG AT's tonight. The 5th wont fit under the rear of my truck without a bunch of hassle. I've seen roof racks on trucks before and I don't see to many Rangers (or Mazda's) with them. If I bought the stock roof rack that came off of an 02+ Explorer such as this...

and somehow shortened it and added this basket that came on select Expo's....



would I be able to make it work somehow without causing any leaking/rusting?

i was actually just looking at a sight that has one for rangers and has the mounting hardware for the lack of gutters and everthing, ill see if i can find the link again
