I need advise on a new Front Bumper!

I've been trying to figure out for a few weeks what to do with my front bumper. It's all chiped up and flaking off. But them i'm still stuck with the grill surround b/c it's all chiped up too? Could try using the dupicolor paint kit on the grill surround and do the folowing to the front bumper?

Paint Cardinal Red=$325.00 and i'll have to deal with more rock chips again b/c i do a lot of highway driveing. ?

Buy Chrome Top Peice and paint lower balance with Truckbed coating=$150 ?

Or Truck bed coat the whole thing? Not sure how'ed look. $20

I just thought i'd get some other peoples thoughts.

Almost finished

Well i wasn't getting any replies so i just went ahead and started it! I ended up sanding the metel bumper "and sanding, sanding, sanding, sanding" and more sanding, then i primed......more sanding......then painted it Cardinal Red using all duplicolor products, then clear coat! It looks great! I got the truck bed liner from duplicolor and did the lower balance in it "like 5 coats" after sanding, and sanding....i think u get the point. LOL! So far it looks great and i'll get the picuturs on here tomm.

Better late than never...

I had the powder coat seperate and started causing rust problems on my back bumper. After going to several body shops and getting outrageous quotes I put my thinking cap on. I went to the local monument company and ask if he would sandblast both the front and back bumpers. He agreed and only charged me $40.00. I primed the bumpers myself. My truck is all white and the Walmart brand gloss white matched perfectly. I put 5 coats on each bumper at a cost of $10.00 and 3 coas of clear coat at a cost of $12.00. It looks like I had a professional did the job.
