ideas for a show

were having a car truck and bike show here in jackson and i'm pushing to get my truck kinda supped up for it to put it in the stock division but i need help on what to put in it i was thinking..........

or either these

as my lights since my truck is that glittering silver color and the bumpers, grills and everything else are black

also the front lights are going to be switched to ............

with the corners to match and that should leave it pretty much stock till i put in some strobes and some lights in the interior any more ideas is good

Umm, those look nothing like the 01+ headlights. They look alot like the Gen 3 or 4, as Jon said. Cause there are no aftermarket headlights for the new rangers yet. I love how everywhere says fits 98-04 Rangers, but doesn't fit the Edge Model. Number 1, 98-00 and 01+ are two totally different headlights. Number 2, The Edge headlights and the XL and XLT's are the exact same.

As for the tailights, the TYC look good and the other one's look different. I say go with different.:)

I was thinking about getting some of those headlights for my 99 Ranger too. I like the look of the clear lens better than the opaque white ones that come stock.

This is really off topic but... FoMoCoEdge, what size tips do you have on your ranger... 3in? Im not sure if I want 2.5 or 3in tips when I get duals and I like the way yours looks.
Thanks,
Chris

I wouldn't drop money on headlights, unless you knew without a doubt they fit, so you dont have to go through the hassle of sending them back.

The ones he has in the pic are 98-00, like these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33710

You can use those, but you will need to redo your wiring, get a new header panel, get the right corner lights, and a new grill. If you dont get the chrome one, you will have to have it painted.

Here is everything you will need:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Plus you will need a new hood since you have a 2004. As well as figure out how to rewire it all.

They look at everything. Make sure the truck is clean as it can be. I would get a couple cans of cheap black spray paint, and paint the rear end, and the exposed part of the frame, and the wheel wells. Use a foam tire cleaner on your engine after it has sat for awhile, and when the judges come around, pop your hood open for them. Even if you don't have anything done. If you don't open it, you get 0 points, and if you open it you will atleast get 1. Usally I keep both windows down, and lean the passangers seat forward so they can see my sub box and PS2. Just make sure everything is clean though.

You should try and make it out to Showfest, it is next weekend in Greenville, MS, not sure how far you are, but it is the biggest show of the year. Even if you don't show, you will learn what ya need to do.

Add a gold plated pole in the bed, and some mirrors on the floor, that will get you like 400 points, and if you have a woman on the pole that's like 1000 points. And if you get 0 points thats what you get for listening to me lol. j/k Check out ICPW for clear corners and tails. Deatil your truck the day before the show, bring **** to detail it there as well.
