hey man if you got a 2wd i like the spindle kit and blocks, that way theres no gap and you wont see your frame sticking three inches lower than your body. however its all up to you

X2 on the spindle kit. It looks way better than a body lift.

I say go with the spindles also. Do you have blocks in the rear already? If not go with a 3in spindle kit and a 2.5in block in the rear (About $10 at a junk yard) and throw some 32's or 33's on it. You'll love it!

Welcome to RF btw!

http://www.doetsch-shocks.com/21.asp

I would say either 63064 or 63065 depending on how much lift he wants. Well worth the price if you just want the look and clearance.

I ran their 6/4 lift on my 2000 and loved it. Cleared the 33's just fine too.

EDIT: Brenden, the Springtech and Doetsch are the same kits. Just FYI.

All the lift I have is from suspension. I'd go with the suspension if I were you, but it also depends on if you wheel your truck or just want it lifted for looks.

Cheap and easy = body lift (hence the reason everyone does it Kiel)

If you want something a little more performance friendly than follow the advice above... but you'll pay for the higher quality...

As any mod... it really depends on what you use the truck for... looks vs. performance = cheap vs. expensive
