GIve me some ideas
I installed a 3 inch body lift with 31 inch tires. My Ranger has a 3.0. After the install, my truck felt a little sluggish. I installed a cool air intake and a chip module, the sluggish feeling went away completly and add more HP. I am very satisfied with the installs I made and it only cost me around $600 including harware and install. In my opinion, I got the clearance and horsepower I needed for a fraction of the price of a suspinsion lift alone. But, If you have the money, by all means, go for the Suspinsion lift and motor upgrades.
