You can use the blues/Reds here, just cant drive with them or any other color on. I did it anyways, whats the point of having them if you cant show them off?

haha, dont do it, we already have too many mobile tanning booths out on the streets. get lights that serve a purpose. neon lights belong in bars and strip clubs, not under your truck. IMO!!

i had a set of neon on my old ranger but had to take them off in the winter..
i just got a 2.1 million color led kit for my new truck and am waiting until i lift it to see where to go with them. i also got the door handle kit. I like lights under my truck.

LED's would be better on lifted trucks since they shoot down instead of spreading the light.

well im asian.. so i gotta sport the ricer in me lol.. when i was deciding which car i wanted it was betwwen an integra.. civic.. ranger.. or tacoma... so im tryin to mix the 2.. minus droppin the truck and puttin on 22's cuz i feel that the purpose of a truck is lost when dropped.

Personaly. I have never liked the Neon thing in the first place. I dont think it looks bad. But it looks like its just too much. If its interier its a lil different. I have L.E.D.'s all in my cab. And I have strobes in the headlights and taillights. I think that is too much. And I just dont think they look very good. And plus, you cant really even see them anyways.

Don't forget churches (ie. the one in the Blues Bros.). I'm definetaly not a fan of them on cars and trucks though.

They were writing tickets that night just for neon violations. When I went to pay the $65 ticket the clerk said 6 other people had paid for that violation that week. this is true. my brother got a ticket for having blue under his rodeo. i dont know how it is in most places but i know in texas there are certain laws for neons. for one your not supposed to be able to see the actual tubes. which if you can you did a bad job installing but thats not the point. you just need to check the laws in your area for specific details. other than that i think neons look good on a lifted truck as long its not too high off the ground.

where did you install them so that they wouldnt be seen? i figured that since there was a lift it is much harder to hide the neons

thats cool...i put a set on for friend and his looks good

For the install the front one is in the front bumper, the two on the sides are zip tied next to the frame on the body there is a few holes underneath you can zip tie to soon as you see it youll understand if not i can post pics as for the rear i put 2 inside due to my spare and my tow hitch i did a criss cross in the back looks real clean and cant tell there is 2 back there one end of the neon slides up into rear quarter panel and other end sits right on the lip of the bumper.
