I was wondering how airbrushing on a hood would hold up to the weather. I was wanting to get Chuck Norris airbrushed then covered with clear coat. There is a local business that does this but have never done a car before. Any suggestions? THIS IS NOT A JOKE BTW

It will hold up as long as it is cleared with some quality automotive clear.

If you do this it will hold up to the elements with some good clear coat.

But if you park in an area that has youths, drunks, or worse drunks youths you are going to end up with vandalism. One thing I have learned is that the vehicle that sticks out like a sore thumb gets picked on more than the others. I have learned this through personal experience as well as being that jerky adolescent.....I mean really if you are going to put sod on a vehicle you are going to pick one that grabs your eye right hahaha.

A portrait of anyone on a truck is lame, anything air brushed is lame, but that being said I think the chuck norris mural would be awesome just cuz its too funny and its taking it way to far.
