I wouldn't call it a lariat, jsut you're own custom Ranger

 

So i see you like John's truck... Why don't you just copy him...lol

 

the only way you could justify calling it a lariat is if you did it like a REAL lariat, that means tan leather interior, gold painted accents on the outside, etc. i personally dont like lariats because im not much into the whole gold/tan scheme.

 

My Ranger is an XLT Lariat. Don't know what makes it that. I don't see anything special about it. I've got pockets in my door panels if that counts.

 

I think it would be cool if you did that. Tan bucket seats, gold pinstriping and two-tone exterior. Add in the OHC. The woodgrain dash would be a nice addition too, although it wasn't on lariats until '04 i believe, I know my 2000 lariat has an aftermarket woodgrain kit. Upgraded wheels, unless you get aftermarket ones. Power locks and windows if you dont have them. Good Idea for a nice subtle looking truck.

Well my truck is a Ranger Limited and i have the stuff in to prove it :)

check out my pics. and you will see why. all i have left it to install the limited visors, steering wheel, and EATC... all of witch are sitting a couple of feet away from me.
