New shift ****

Alright here's the deal. I want to put a new shift **** on my truck and I had an idea to find a Mack truck or Peterbuilt shift **** out of a big rig. I can't find any and so I'm asking anyone for some internet assistance to find this. thanks

Truck Stop is a good place to look. They always have neat thing there.

Edit: After looking online, the only problems your going to run into is the threads not matching up, and that most shift ***** have the splitters built in. I dont know about the newer ones, but the ones I've driven were air-switches for the Hi-Low trans. speeds. If you got one that was electronic (I'm sure they're out there) you could possibly make it into a switch for something...

If I did get one with the Hi-Lo switch on it, I should be able to wire it into something (amp, neon, or etc.)

A good truck accessories place will have them, but the OEM ***** are glued on. The stock shaft has no threads, just splines.

yup big trucks only have splines in the shifter, how would they hook up the air hose and spliter cable before they hooked it on if they had to turn it on. there would be no way. plus they are hug *****, i think it would be cool to have one and hook it up to my cab lights or something.

when ya'll get the new ***** on, post some pics. neat idea. How about adapting a pistol grip shifter onto a ranger....it's crazy, but it just might work.

Check this auction out. Here is your shifter from a Eaton Fuller. Its got the High/Low switch and the splitter on the side. If you end up adapting this, I would love to see pics. Its definately going to be different.

Ebay ****
