lol, you could put an intercom in your truck, and make the announcement to not smoke, wear a seatbelt...

No one can smoke in my truck. If you light get your thumb ready because you will be walking. As for the seatbelt normally that is a given but I always wait for the person riding with me to buckle up before putting it in drive.

This will only be cool if it makes the bing-bong sound when it turns on.

haha, that's a pretty cool idea

Go for it, sounds like something i would want to do. The passengers will get a kick out of it.

I know exactly how you could do it, too. I saw a little thing at Autozone today, it's a center console that hangs from the roof, like an explorer has, but instead of a thermometer, it's just a courtesy light... Like, image the way the Explorer thermometer looks, keep everything except behind the glass part where the reading is, it's frosted glass and a lightbulb. All you'd have to do is take it apart, pull out the lens, cut out the symbols and put them on the lens and paint the back of the lens, when you turn the light on the light will not shine through the paint, just the two symbols...

Not sure if you can make this but in my GFs Cobalt the passenger seat has a senor in it. When It sensors weight it will ding until the passenger puts on there seat belt. It would be hidden so I think it would look better. And as for smoking. Just tell them not to smoke,

This is a large limousine part but it might work if you can find a place for it. Under an aftermarket head unit, maybe??

Part number ELP-2018

This would be very cool with a recorded "stewardess" voice playing to inform folks of what the sign says.

I'm sure it might get old after a while though, so an "off switch" would be a good idea. Then you could turn it on when folks are going to be in the truck, and when you start it, they'd be like, "what the...."

I dont smoke and I always make people wear their seatbelts but that just seems like a BIG waste of time and would take a long time to make it look good

But if your set on it go with the stuff that Bob posted

yeah do it. then when you're done with that mod, you should get some scale aircraft wings with working flaps and put those on your truck. then when you're done with THAT, get some Freakin Engines and put those on there too.

OH. and then you should paint it like 10 different colors for extra "wow" factor.

hell yes.
