well, personally, i had to do the door dinger mod, and the 60/40 slice (dunno if that applies to the '05). my '00 is the extended cab so i removed one of my jump seats and am in the process of fabbing storage space there. also was thinking of upgrading from factory speakers... thats just my ideas

Get some clear corner lights, maybe a street scene grill. Have you done anything with your exhaust?

its ok, theres no spelling tests here...

it basically disables that freakin annoy chime when your doors open and your keys in the ignition. if you wire it right, it makes it to where the truck thinks it has 2 passenger side doors (i.e.- the drivers side will still activate the overhead light, but no chime.)

Throttle Cable Mod, Fog Light Mod, MAF mod, Blinker Mod. Cheap, easy, and useful.

Blinker and Fog light mod for sure!! Haven't heard anything good about the MAF mod. Sounds cool if you're bored and wanna risk buying a new one. I talked to Doc about his and he said it was a waste of time.

The MAF mod has worked for me...allows me higher speeds at lower RPMs then before.

They are both right about the MAF mod.
The MAF mod works wonders for a 3.0, but does barely anything for the 4.0.
So DOC was right, because he has a 4.0, and pastfinder was right, because he has a 3.0.
You don't have it in your sig, but I'm pretty sure you have a 4.0...

You appear to have more "functional" mods on your mind. Since you have already done the second most expensive Ranger MOD(suspension lift), the rest should be cheap...

Try
  • Exhaust upgrade(opinions vary on style and manufacturer)
  • Intake Upgrade(something "watertight", since you offroad)
  • Extending your axle and tranny vents(to be safe in higher water/mud)
  • Rear Locker(for the really fun mudholes)
  • Light Bar(for better highway vision...lol)

she has a 05.. the 'maf' mod doesn't work, she has rims and tires, and they don't make "speed scene" grills for the 04+
