I agree...I'd go with a variation of the 1st one...leave the outside edges and the center dip yellow, and the rest black

so the top of the hood and the front of the hood in the same area are black and the outside and the center are yellow

I think that would look awesome

The first one, but with the outside edges left yellow, would be the only acceptible option.

i say, don't do any of those, unless you plan to continue that black/yellow paint scheme throughout the truck... if you do something to the roof, tailgate, bumper, valance, and doors... sure

but a hood like that, alone, will be too... i dunno... i don't think it would look that great...

I like the 3rd one, the first two had too much black in it.

Paint the entire center of the hood, continue on the cab, then on the tailgate and have it fade out there. Like Christian said, the hood alone might not look too good.

I'd say do some black racing strips, and maybe the very center of the hood, but you gotta run it all the way to the back of the truck.

I saw a pretty cool looking car racing on TV today (it was a totally built up super car) I think it was a jaguar, but it had a cool green and grey strips on the front, and grey with green stripes on the back. It was pretty cool with a "transfer" section between both paint schemes that was in the shape of a jaguar. Something along those lines would be cool. If you're gonna do it, go big! :)

i like the first idea alot IF you get a hood scoop. get a honda scoop or somthing like that and fabricate it to fit, then black with some yellow on it would be awsome!

They use mustang hood scoopes on Edges a lot. Fits in with the hod lines really well. Anyways I like Q's second variation with the two tone, black on top. That looks killer. As for the hood options... I'm honestly not a fan of them. I would just suggest a BOSS style like Oldfart and Yellowedge have, but maybe have it fade to yellow toward the back of the hood to make it be a little different then both of theres. Just an idea...
