Questions on lifting

So I've asked before about lifting my ranger it's a 06 fx4 it's got about 5 inch lift total on it right now (3" body 2.5" suspension) but I would like to add another 3-5 inches I know there's no bolt on lifts that big so I want to take it to a shop how much would it roughly cost and what all would they have to do to make it that much taller. Thanks for the help!

Unless you'd like to shell out 10k for a shop to do a solid front axle conversion and the supporting mods, buy a $1700 super lift. Remove your 2.5" suspension 'lift' and put on the super lift. You'll be 1.5" higher than now.

Anything else is really a shot in the dark on pricing. Every shop is different in their rates, what parts they use, how they do things. Cheap ain't good, good ain't cheap. Shop A can charge less than Shop B, but Shop A's work might be a hacked together death trap.

You can get 5" out of a Superlift without over cranking the torsion bars.

Rip out your previous lift, look for a RCD coil over conversion lift (5in) and add a 3 inch PA body lift (if you like lift and don't care for squeaking). It'll top off at 8, that's the most I've seen on a Ranger without SASing it, preferably I'd tell you to just SAS it if you want to go big, it's more reliable but more expensive.
