Ranger body on FS Bronco Frame??

HI guys I'm new here but I have a 81 FS bronco and was thinking of swaping my 91 ford ranger body onto the frame to make a great trail rig. Has anyone heard of this being done??? I have looked all over the internet and I found very little, So I was hoping someone on this forum might be able to help me out.

Thanks

Austin

the width would have to be the same from the body and frame i would imagine.

That's my other truck it's a 75 highboy with new paint 12 inch suspension lift and 42 inch tires, It's too big for me so I would like to build a trail rig, I'll post pics of the ranger later.

I have seen a s-10 on a k-5 blazer frame. So I guess maybe you could put a ranger on a bronco frame.

I've seen a few F-150 bodies on Bronco frames, because its basically the same, I've never seen a Ranger body on one. If you check out FullSizeBronco.com - 78 - 96 Ford Bronco forums, tech, installs and more., you'll definitely pick up some good info.
