Ranger Raptor?

I was sittin at the computer looking and dreaming on the "Ford" site and watching videos of the F-150 Raptor and then I thought of how amazing ford could make a raptor edition of a ranger. Has anyone heard of plans of a ranger raptor? Somebody wanna design one on here? Any thoughts?

a $40,000 ranger? i dont think they would do that. anyways that huge v8 they put in the raptor would make our little rangers coffins with 4 tires and a steering wheel

If we are dreaming, bring back the bronco or bronco II. Hello Ford, are you listening?

you can take a stock ranger and build it up for way less $$$$ than whatever ford's out-of-the-box price would be for a 'raptor ranger'.

I'd much rather see ford update the Ranger platform and bring this truck into the 21st motherf**king century like all the other makers did with their small trucks years and years ago.

The raptor really isn't anything THAT special anyway...

Why would you even want ford to build it? So they can make it overpriced for what it is? The aftermarket kits are better

^x2 sayin you want to build a ranger like a raptor is like proclaiming you want to build a half@ss desert truck. you couldnt even do it because the aftermarket long travel for a ranger is so superior to a raptors suspension, youd have to make your own and make it not as good as whats out there. and quite frankly the raptor glass is fugly as shiz f150's with glass look way better then a raptor.

too bad youre wrong about being over priced... its only like a 2k more than my dads lariat 4x4 and 1200 of that is the ****ty decals. ik you can build better than what the raptor has but all that from factory WITH warranty and bigger nice tires. you touch any of your suspension and stuff with a warrenty its void at most dealerships.

Yes and no

Ford = has warranty and is a proven set up and you'll have no headache tuning it

Home built - Buy a 10k truck, dump 30k into it, you have something probably better then a raptor, but them all the headache of tuning and all the cost of repairs or fixing issues which may put it over the Raptor price.

agree. They have tested and built the Raptor to certain specifications and know how it handles and performs before hand. where as you can bolt and weld stuff one, but it will always cost to tune them in and if they fail, it wultimatly cost you big time

I thought that it had a 5 ft bed, which doesn't come on any other F150. The wheel base is extra short.
