Redoing the interior on my 97 ranger. Looking for advice.
Need to redo the interior on my 97 ranger. Interior I mainly brown with black accents. Have to replace the carpet (stained to bits by previous owner) and the headliner which is cracked. Wanting to do a molded black vinyl floor and black headliner as well. It's an extended cab with a 60/40 bench and would love to put 2 nice bucket seats with a nice center console. Would love to take out all the brown in the dash an doors and make it solid black. Need a new dome light and cruise control buttons on steering wheel are melted. Would love Yall's input on materials, websites, suggestions, and especially what are the bucket seat choices I have and a nice center console. Thank you
Not sure about brand new stuff, that would just take some google and e-bay searching... but. You could always go to a junk yard.
Grab some nice bucket seats from an explorer, cloth or leather. You can grab new door panels too, or just clean and paint your own.
You could grab a dome light from mustang, a lot of people sell them as they are a popular upgrade to the ranger's stock dome lights as they provide map lights.
You could also grab an overhead console out of an explorer, and that would give you a compass/temp gauge/map lights.
As far as a new rubber floor, look in some of the edge and fx4 models at junk yards... or do a google search, I know they sell kits. Some people on here have done it as well, might search for threads and see where they got their stuff.
Good luck :)

Thanks. I appreciate the advice. Thought about te explorer buckets and center consoles. Does anyone know the newest year of explorers that will bolt in? Will the door panels of an explorer fit the ranger?
