Is this Ricy???

I thought it would be cool if I remove the ranger emblems and put these in the hole for now...

simple mod wire them to parking lights and these are only $19.99

No, it was done by MTXedg01(sp) on GE and it looked good. Adds a nice lil safety thing too.

If only they had one big enough for the F-150, I'd do it.:)

There are two alignment holes behind the emblem, roughly six inches apart. Between the holes, there is a small depression that is mostly hidden by the emblem. You can see it if you look carefully between the 'N' and the 'G' of Ranger. My guess is that the depression holds a small side marker lamp in some markets outside of North America.

ryan,
it would be a little more work but you could "shave" the emblem and then either drill a new hole or no go over one with the bondo....?

Some '94 - '97 Mazda trucks have chrome inserts on the mirrors. I think the mirrors are slightly different from Ranger mirrors though...the whole assembly would need to be swapped.

How far are these holes apart, anyone know, I saw someone metioned about 6 inches, but I was looking at getting a "H2" emblem or something different but wanted to see if it'd fit over all the holes.
Did anyone put anything but a signal light over these holes?

when i was leaving the gym with lumadar a couple days ago, we saw an infiniti g35 with blue sidemarkers. i know its illegal, but it looked damn sweet. if it werent for the fact that the alignment holes on our trucks are ~6" apart, i'd add blue-lit sidemarkers in an instant!

anyone know of a good alternate location for sidemarkers that would still look good but not involve removing the emblems? i think a sidemarker wide enough to cover all the emblem holes would look weird.

I agree, the Z4 lights wouldn't flow with a ranger.
It's 'cool', but only on a bmw
