shaving grille emblem

shaving grille emblem

so i got this idea that i wanna shave the emblem off my XL grille, and smooth it out, what would be the way to go as far as filling the grille bars to make it look factory


this is what i'm talking about

It is possible but will require some skill to cut, bond, sand, and paint the new one if you use a donor grille; you could always fiberglass it..


off topic: are those 14" rims?

I'll have to check the condition of the one I have sitting in the garage, took it off as soon as I got the truck, might let you have it minus shipping..

I don't like it, looks like its missing something. I say cut out the bars and put in a billet grille.

yeah, i use them for my summer wheels, right now i'm stuck with the winter tires


i have a billet grille, i took it off, and put the stocker on for a different look... besides everyone has a billet

Ill be able to get pics on Tuesday when I go home, currently in the dorms..

I really like horizontal bar only grille! If only I had thought of that before I bought the billet grille like 3 years ago..

Got to find a box, and what is you zip? you could fiberglass the small gaps and not need a donor..

I agree with everybody else, it does look much better with the three horizontal bars.
