So I missed out on a 4x4 deal.

Now I'm very mad. LOL

I was going to buy a 92 single cab Ford Ranger 4x4. 4.0 Auto.
had custom push bar, skid plate.
10in lift kit.
2 sets of 35'' tires on rims (mud and allterrain)
Only for $1800.

Now I want opinions on what I can do to my truck. I'm willing to spend $2000 on it.
I spent most of the night last night out kinda hunting but couldn't go into the thick stuff because I was afraid of getting stuck.

My truck.
2000xlt single cab
3.0 5sp manual. 2wd. open 7.5 (3.73s or 4.10s)
It's a great truck but I don't really want to jack it up much because its my dd. any ideas?

I wanted to body lift and get 31'' tires if possible. but if theres a cheap Real lift I wouldn't mind going bigger. but again I don't want it all jacked up unless it's going to handle going off road no problem too you know?

OR I'm really wanting a truck VERY similar to it.

I really want 4.0 4x4 auto in the second gen. thats ready for off roading if possible.

I just love second gens.

If anyone has one for sale I'd like to know.

I know this has no real direction but I want all opinions possible. Prices and what not would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

save your $$ and buy a 4X4, whether it be a ranger or other truck. Good luck!
