Hmm... I would guess not! Not unless you want it to stick out a foot on each side! LOL
It is just that much more rear end protection!!

yeah that seems a little odd having a skidplate up that high... i guess if you do some serious offroading.. backwards.. it would help.. i definately like docs better.. on that note...

is the rack and bumper all one piece?

I think James Duff makes a carrier like that but I went to their site and that link is broken right now so I can't tell for sure

i must be weird. if i had a flat id rather

-leave my truck there.
-load it on the trailer take it home.
-go home get the spare
-limp my way home and ruin the wheel

then to have a tire and carrier in my bed all the time.

it just idk doesnt look good.

The carrier is made by James Duff and is modular. You can buy just the bumper.. Then add a jerry can carrier or the tire carrer or both. The BII frame is the same spacing as a rsanger but the ranger frame only goes untill a foot from the bumper. The only thing I had to do was get two plates to extend my frame made for 25 bucks at the local iron shop.

Okay, My take on the spare tire carrier is... If your goona spend the money on the spare tire. Then you might as well make your own tire carrier that looks badass for your application. And that will suit your needs. And you are not a hands on type of person, then im sure you know someone with a welder and some form or crude tubing bender. Use your heads. When you make yorself. It will always look better then one that is mass produced. And you can take the pride in knowing you made it yourself.

Here is one from Giant Motorsports. It looks good and is cheap.
