Going from Lowered to Lifted

Going from Lowered to Lifted
Right now Im lowered 2/3 and had mustang wheels on my truck, the roads around here are terrible and everywhere I go its an obsticle coarse to try and not hit pot holes, Ive cracked one of my black FR500 wheels, some how even though I drive slow and careful around holes and bumps. I couldnt take it anymore, I put my stock wheels back on the other day. Ive always wanted to lift my truck so now Im going to do it. Im going to go with a 3 inch body lift and 3 inch spindles, with shackles in the back and maybe a add aleak or a small block whichever is needed to make it level. My plan is to run a 32-33 inch tire on some 16x8 American Outlaw Buckshots. Also I have a friend that works at a salvage yard that is going to give me a deal on a 8.8 with 4.10s with l/s.
Whats your opinion?
Heres a pic of my truck not recent though and the wheels Im looking at.

Hey man I just did pretty much the same thing. After years of being lowered I finally got tired of it. Of course it makes a little more sense for mine as it's an Edge. As said above if you just wanna run 32's 33's I would say start with the spindles and shackles, then if you want more, ad a set of lift spacers in the front and blocks or AAL in the back. If you look in my avatar you can see how mine sat before and the tires i went too.

You can do it with spindles and spacers. I think stepsides look good as prerunners. If you want I'll get a pic of my buddies 98. It's got 5"(spindles and spacers) in front and 2"(blocks) in back. He's about to put a set of shackles on the back as well when he gets new shocks. Looks kinda silly right now on stockish 30" tires. He was planning a body lift but now he's glad he didn't, saves a lot of time and money.

I agree it looks good as it is now. No matter how much you lift the truck it'll still be 2wd so don't do it. I remember back before I was a truck guy I'd see a nice lifted truck and sometimes I'd bend down to look under it only to find it was 2wd. I couldn't believe people would lift 2wd trucks. I still feel the same way now.

f*ck it man lift that ****, if you have the money why not right lol. As long as you have tow hooks, heavy duty winch and other trucks with you its all good.. (well obvs not in snow and mud terrain). I like how it looks now although I would like to see it slammed on the ground on airbags..

Ive been doing some reading and looking online for ideas
My updated parts list:
3 inch lift spindles
3 inch body lift
Stock 4x4 rear block
Lift shackles
16x8 American Outlaw Buckshots
295/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers (33s)
Regear to 4.10s or 4.56s
My friend is going to give me a good deal on the nittos, thats why I have decided to go with them and I have read nothing bad about them.
Here is a fellow ranger owner with the wheel Im thinking about getting on his truck with 33s, yes its a toatlly dfferent truck but you get the idea
