T-Shirts and Hats

I had an idea a couple weeks ago... I'm always seeing the threads for the RF T-shirt orders being brought back up asking "Whens the next order???" and the Hat threads of "Who's interested???" but nothing happening. I realize its difficult to find time and take in the orders, have shirts made, and shipped, but why not have a thirds party do this?? I know the website Cafepress.com has tons of custom shirts for events and clubs that can be ordered any time, in any size, and a variety of colors, and RF would be making a profit off of the shirts sales. The site moderators or whoever could upload the design or RF logo, and Cafepress can print it out on a number of different items from shirts, hoodies, mugs, hats, stickers or whatever people want. I just thought it would be a good way to help members get RF apparel anytime and for the site to be represented, but what do you guys think???

Here is a link to Cafepress describing how to sell

I would like that. On my old forum for my other truck. A guy drew pictures of our trucks and sold them on there.

This has been talked about before, but it always comes down to the same thing. You need permission from the Christian, the sites owner.

I think that its more of the quality that Christian worries about. He doesnt want to see some cheap shirts with cheap print on them that wear out or fall apart.

There is also no reason Christian couldn't set it up at some point, just to make RF apparel more accessible. I would hope he would be willing to help?

And its a good thing he worries about the quality, hopefully he will chime in at some point and give some input.

That's where my idea came from, people like there shirts but can only buy them once a year at most, and lots of members have expressed interest in a hat.

even though we kinda wine and complain sometimes(stickers)....i must say....these shirts Christian was selling are excellent quality. I have a total of like 6 of them...and there's no cracking of the silkscreen as of yet. And ive had the shirts goin' on 2.5 years i think.

I recently purchased some stuff from cafepress.....a nobama tshirt......and it LOOKS like after the first couple washes, the quality of the image would be lost.

x2... i bought one shirt the very first time they ran them, like 3 years ago... it's been washed a million times... still looks new. i'd say i wear it at least once a month, so that's at the very least, about 36 times through the washer and dryer...

Actually shirts should be in a few months around the new year. Look for a post from Christian.

He is graduating in December if I remember correctly.
