i ordered a new set of 06+ emblems for my truck and was wondering if neone has tries to use the spray tint on them. im gonna try it on my old ones and if i like it om gonna be doing it to the new ones. just wanted to see if neone else has thought of doing it to.

 

I got new 06 emblems and painted them to match my truck, wedhewood blue with orange letters. They look sick. I will post a picture on here tonight so you can tell me what you think.

anything ever happen with this I was some spray tint and was thinkin about doing it too

try it on the old ones before i did it to the new ones and the spray tint just didnt adhear quite right so i didnt do it. but heye that ok the truck looks great with the new emblems.

 

did you use the vht niteshade spray paint?

 

yea i think the emblems are just to smooth of a surface for the paint to stick too.

 

ahh...i see. I think i'm going to deepwedgewood a set of '06s and change the text to chrome....then clear coat them. itll be tight.

 

I am gonna try and put on like a set of F1-fitty emblems or just take mine off.... i think that will look the sickest..(if tht is even a word..HAHA!)
