I am currently going through a harsh winter in Chicago with a 2wd 08 ranger xl....
realized that isn't the best option for a winter in Chicago. But anyway I was wondering if any one has a ranger with 235/75 r15s tires they could post a pic of. Also, I was looking for a leveling kit or a 2-3 inch lift for the front end (just for a little more ground clearance) I have a 08 coil spring 2wd ranger xl. Lastly, what kind of lift would i need if I was trying to go with a 31/10.5 r15 bf goodrich all terrain or rugged trail. As you can see I am contemplating a few options to beef the truck up a bit without going to crazy. I wanna keep the ranger for as long as possible so I am going to supplement it with a 1960-1979 bronco for a good winter and trail riding vehicle know of any for sale........ well sorry about all the questions but all the advice will help!!!! Oh one more thing what good engine upgrades are out there mine is a 3.0 v6 also wanna add some power under the hood as well. Well I think that is it....

 

You could go with a 3" body lift and 31's. I ran 31's no problem stock but I dont know if the new trucks are different than mine.'

Oh and if you want suspension lift you could got for lift spindles or coil spacers for the front.
