heres an idea for anyone with an Edge......take off the "Edge" stickers, and go get some of the classic "Splash" stickers that had the pinstripe down the side and then said "Splash" right at the doors........convert you Ranger Edge to the old skool Splash!!!!! Because thats all an edge is, it started out as a "Splash till about 97. Then they became the Ranger "Sport" in 98' till 2000. Then the "Edge" came out till 2005. Now they are back to being called "Sport" i think it would be a cool idea........

let's see to convert my Edge to a "splash" i'd have to remove and replace my styleside bed to a flareside, remove my 4x4 componants, get smaller car like tires, change my paint job to either dull orange, yellow or sea blue, put a silly "sperm looking" splash sticker on my doors, change my sohc to an ohv, completely re-do the interior, change my automatic door locks, windows, mirrors to manual.

Not quite. A splash always had a step side box, edges came in both.

 

You could get a splash with 4wd. I actually have one.

The only splash my truck sees is the hose being sprayed and splashing against the bodyside....
