When I had my 3.0 i had a flowmaster 40 series installed with 3" tips. It sounded good. But as for the "twister" mufflers, i can say i havent heard of them.

if you are referring to the twister by Flo Pro... all I have to say is OMG! lol, I love this thing its so effing loud, but good to cruise with. It has a bad drone on the highway but I like that drone, people will and can hear you comming. ID say go for it!

just saw that you are from Rougemont, yeah thats where Im talking about. The guys does great work. A lot of guys have the flowmaster mufflers and I just wanted to be different, Ive had nothing but good compliments about it. Ive had mine for abut 4 years now still sounds awesome. Nice to see someone pretty close to me. If you ever want to meet up or anything just let me know, like if you want to hear what it sounds like.

Im hearing a little mini meet in little ol Roxboro... haha, I dont think I had the chance to meet you 04blackedge at the Jordan lake meet. But yeah they do great work up there I havent had any problems or anything with mine, you could prolly tow with my exhaust thats how well it was put on, plus the guy tucked up closer to the body so you dont see any ugly exhaust piping hangin down and has less chance of getting stripped off when off roading

Yeah I dont think so either, I love how you have your exhaust done thats exactly how I want to do mine. I would love to hear your exhaust, considering we have the same truck lol so I would know what it sounds like. How much did the whole install cost?

well before I had the twister on I had a v-force muffler on it (not loud enough for me), and the total of that was $250 including my chrome tips... went back a month later adn got the twister put on for roughly $100... Im not sure exactly I do not have my receipt and its been so long.

Is it like annoying loud? I normally have my music turned up anyway. There were so many great sounding exhausts at the meet when people were pulling away I forgot whose was whose lol. I like more of a deep rumble then loudness. I don't want it to sound ricey at all.

It can be on the highway, especially if you have the windows down, but with windows up its not really noticeable. The twister is more loud than anything, but if you want the rumble go with a flowmaster, I think they are having some kind of sale on them at Remco for $59.95. But I like loud and people definitely look when I get on it. Plyswithsqurls (spl) has a flowmaster, he and i followed each other to the meet. His has a nice rumble to it. I liked how Brices sounded at the meet I wanted to talk to him some but got caught up with other things.

haha it is a small world after all. Its kinda odd though cause Dave likes my exhaust and how it sounds and i like his too, but not many have the twister and i like the sound of it especially when you can hear it echoing off in the distance lol. But either way Im pretty sure you will be satisfied
