Darkness various by state MD its 35% which equals about nothing. I paid $260 for my wifes mustang. That included both doors the small side windows and the back window. I was thinking about getting my truck done I think just the 2 doors would be about $100.

I got my truck done for 117.65 for the two doors, sides and rear. I had them put 20% all the way around legal is 35%. My Friend paid 500 for his Jeep liberty but he has two layers of 5% all around and a single layer on the windshield. He has all kind of military clearance and has a special permit.Needless to say I drive at night.

Geez, thats cheap, did you get it done by somebody else, or did you do it yourself? The lower the percent, the darker it is right?

Yeah lower % = darker...I got 5% all around (except on front)

I gotta redo mine...actually get it done...it looks like crap (small lines and bubbles)

I recommend you get someone to do it, dont do it yourself.

You have to think about it though, the more the price is, it is more likely that the window film is of a higher grade. If you can, try and get a lifetime warrenty.

My lifetime warrenty was $20 extra, and he will re do the tint if i want even if there isnt anything wrong with it. Also, if i wanted to change the % or get a different style of tint... it's free!

I have 15% on all windows (i have an extended cab), and a 5% windshield strip. It cost me $120, and it was Llumar window tint.

I tinted mine myself, 5% all the way around, expect windshield just got teh strip on teh windshield. Cost me $30 at discount auto parts. It is'nt hard to do just buy an extra box for screw ups, don't do it in the wind or sun, and take your time. Use a spray bottle with water and shop, lay teh tint backwards on teh outside of the window, cut it to fit, then peel off the cover, spray down the inside of the window and the tint palce the tint, and squeege out the bubbles, then dont put your windows down for a couple of days, done.
