Do you have the coil bracket off the 3.0? Intake tube as well?

The bracket that the coil pack bolts to. It's different on 01-up trucks and I need one for the composite upper intake swap.

I dont think so. I'll check tomorrow if I remember. I might have tossed it in the trash when I swapped engines, or used it. I don't remember.

Upper intake, TB, intake tube, coil mount bracket, and vacuum hoses are needed for the swap. EGR and the coolant lines would be deleted with the swap.

the reason to do this is so i can mount a larger throttle body so thatll work nice. i would need to delete the egr and coolant lines? and the vacuum hoses from my current intake dont plug in to this one?

There isn't a bung or mounting area on the intake for an EGR valve, nor are there any coolant lines. Some of the vacuum lines look like they will work fine, however there are 2 that are very different.

Basically yes. If you use an Escape TB the stock intake tube should work, one less item to worry about.

I haven't done the swap yet, need an intake tube (I'm using a stock 03' Ranger TB) and coil bracket. Once I score the items I'll need, I'll do a how-to.

yes definitely doo, ive read you can do the escape one as long as you have a composite manifold or a 56mm bbk one. im trying to see if one from a v6 mustang will work with my manifold. i just want a slightly larger one. but problem is the IAC is on the TB and not the manif like in pretty much all the pictures ive seen.

The IAC bolts directly to the composite intake, on our trucks it bolts directly to the TB. With some fab work, the Gen 3 Taurus Duratec TB supposedly will work, but the Escape TB is a more common well documented swap. The IAC tunnel on the Taurus lines up better than the Escape, the throttle linkage is entirely different--hence the fab work on the Duratec TB.
