Are the gears for a 28 or 31 spline? I'm assuming 31 with the cover but I wanted to make sure.

 

the gears will fit either 31 or 28, the rear LS is a 28 spline. and the cover is for a 31spline axle.

how easy is it to put in a LS?

 

really easy just don't break any of the shims, they're really weak!

 

like he said its doable if your careful, that being said I had my gears and lockers installed by a shop for my DDbecuse they cannot fail but i have set up a few wheeler myself and its very strait forward if you take your time.

 

Limited slip is sold everything else still available.
