Does this intake tube and filter install right on and connect, or is there any additional modifications required besides the silicone fittings? If not ill be interested in buying.

The intake tube itself will bolt-on with silicone adapters, but if you don't have an intake kit on your '08, the filter won't work without a bunch of modification--your MAF is molded into the airbox on '04+ trucks. If you have an aftermarked intake kit with the separate MAF housing, you'll be fine (I had an aFe kit on my '04).
