like the title says...

I'm looking for a STAMPED tailgate found on rangers from 83-92 (like shown below on my 87)

preferably oxford white

must be near perfect condition.

will pay up to $100+ shipping, or if found at a junkyard i will fully reimburse you
i can also pick up if close by

 

i think i have seen a few at my local yard but i can't remember the color. Only thing is, shipping will be quite a bit lol

I ordered alot of replacement stuff from JCwhitney for my 86 f150 and the steel is actually pretty darn good and nice fit

 

I got one but the handle mech is a fubar. Its primer right now I belive. I will take a look at the mech if you are interested.

 

A local junkyard has one for 50 but its green.

i've got a few in my j-yard like that, i was thinking of those as a last resort

that's the kind from the LMC catalogs....FORD isn't stamped in the metal like factory tailgates

neighbors truck has one do they just pop off like newer trucks?

 

yup....the 2 cables pop off and one side lifts up and the gate pops out

 

My guess is frenched into his 3rd gen gate.. Like so..................

yeah i went and checked out the neighbors and theres is rusted along the bottom too so sorry not going to jail for a rusty tailgate but if it was in good condition thats another story lol jk(i wouldnt of actually taken it to begin with)
