For Sale: 2003 Ford Ranger Factory Workshop Service Manual + Bonus Haynes Manual (PA)
2003 Ford Ranger Factory Workshop Service Manual + Bonus Haynes Manual (PA)
You are looking at a USED authentic Ford factory workshop / service manual for the 2003 Ford Ranger. Also included is a bonus USED Haynes repair manual for the 1993-2010 Ford Ranger and 1994-2009 Mazda B-Series pickup.
The Ford factory workshop manual was produced by Helm, Inc., which supplies OEM service literature to Ford and a number of other automakers. It was first printed in October 2002 for the 2003 model year. Its is a paperback book that comes three-hole punched for storage and use in a binder, and carries Ford part number FCS-12542-03.
The Haynes manual is part of a popular line of automotive repair manuals for do-it-yourselfers. It is also a paperback book with the same page size as the factory workshop manual, but much thinner in width and less detailed. It carries Haynes part number 36071, ISBN10 number 1-56392-838-8, and ISBN-13 number 978-1-56392-838-3.
I purchased both manuals shortly after purchasing a 2003 Ford Ranger in 2010. They provided the instructions for me to perform just about any service job I encountered on the vehicle during the time I owned it; with the factory workshop manual being particularly helpful for jobs that required more detailed instructions, diagrams, and illustrations. I traded the Ranger on an F-150 in March 2017. Therefore I have no longer have any use for these, and offer them up here.
Both manuals are in acceptable condition cosmetically, and excellent shape functionally. They were well-used, and they look like it. The front and back covers of both manuals have a number of dings, scuffs, and some grease but are still fully attached to each book. The exposed edges of the pages on three sides have grease and dirt on them, in both books. Likewise, some of the faces of the pages have grease and dirt on them, again in both books. The factory Ford manual has a few dog-eared corners on pages and cover. All pages are firmly attached in both books, everything is legible. The spines of both books have wear but again, are firmly attached. There is a small sticker on the spine of the Ford factory manual. Each book has very minimal, if any, writing on pages.
$70 local pickup in State College, PA, $80 shipped anywhere in the United States, or best reasonable offer. International shipping available for an additional fee depending on destination.
