Bucket Seat Mounting for Std Cab. - MA

Looking to mount a set of bucket seat in my '03 EDGE Std Cab.

I want (and I really do not know what I want) the complete set of floor mounts and sliders for both seats.

From what I have read they need to be from a Std Cab Ranger.

If anyone has some input as to years that will work please post.

Thanks for reading this post.

I was thinking Ranger Seats but I do have a pair of early Explorer Sport Seats (nice condition, <70K one owner) and was thinking of using them.

What condition are the seat you know about, color, std cab or ex-cab ?

Thanks,

Problem is I am leaving tomorrow morning 5 AM for the Keys, be gone for two weeks, let me know as soon as you can.

thanks.

Please, if you are going there, check out if there are any bucket seat even destroyed ones in a std cab.
All I really need is everything under the seats on both sides in good shape for '01+ ( i think ).

Thanks.

Probably use ranger seats or else your head will be too close to the headliner.

just an fyi, seat tracks from 98+ do not unbolt from the bottom of the seats like the 97 and olders do. now, i have heard recently that 97 and older seat tracks will line up with the holes in the floor for 98+. so, you may be able to get a set of reg cab seat tracks from 97 older and then bolt mustang buckets, explorer, etc.

Thanks for that but I too have heard that the Std Cab vs the Ex Cab is a different animal.
I do not for sure and could not come up with anything on the web so I am asking.

Thanks,

If you're still looking

Ken's Auto Salvage in Kingston (maybe East Kingston) NH has a boat load of Explorers from the Klunker program.

Give them a call and see if they have what you need.

Bumping this around a little.

Anyone have for sale or know where to get STD CAB Bucket Seat Brackets ?

I now have a 60/40 bench and was thinking of selling the existing brackets with the seats.

Anyone know if Bucket Seats Brackets even exist for a Std Cab ?
Also, is the Passenger’s Seat bracket for a 60/40 setup the same as a Bucket Seat ?

AND if I cut down the 60% Driver’s Seat Frame will that be the same as a Bucket Seat Bracket for a Std Cab ?

I lor of questions I know and I am a little slow but they need answers and I don’t have them until I start to take things apart; just waiting for the new carpet.

the tracks on a 60/40 should be the same as buckets. but 98-04 don't unbolt. you would have to cut the bottom section of the seat frame apart.
