Im looking to buy carpet to cover my plastic flooring in my 01 edge. I feel like the floor gets dirty too fast and stuff slides around carpet will hide some of the dirt and muffle the sound of things moving around and holding things in place alittle Im thinking. Im tying to find the carpet in black.

I assume you've got an Edge model truck or and XL model truck??


You're best choice is going to a new aftermarket replacement carpet. Here's a thread to take a look at: https://www.ranger-forums.com/f59/ho...-carpet-74723/

They have a TON of colors and give out free carpet and color samples to help you narrow your choices down. It's a U-cut-it sort of carpet, so you can customize it to eliminate jump seats or something.

yes its the edge model. I like how you can customize it because I really wanna go with the center consol set up but I also am not very crafty and can see myself messing up and cutting a hole to big

 

Going to be getting my carpet for my 08 sport extended cab very soon. I got a couple samples from stockinteriours.com. Is it really nice stuff. I just can not decide which color.

Should I go black since the color of the floor is black already or should I go with a light gray to match the headliner.

 

I'll trade my black carpet from my wife's 04 LII if anyone wants to swap for the rubber floor....

 

Oh Troy.... You'll need to use a 98-03 carpet if you do end up finding used or buying from the dealer. If you use 04+, you'll have a hole in your carpet on the passenger kickpanel. 04+ trucks have their fuse panel down there and it's a thicker piece compared to our '01(03 and older) trucks.


I suggest black instead of light grey. I can only imagine how messed up that light grey carpet will get in a weeks time...
