Custom HID RETROFIT Projector Headlights - MA

Hey guys, used to be big into the ranger scene, posted here and RPS. Still big into fords, mustangs now. I recently started a small business with hid retrofit projector headlights. I figured this is something the ranger crowd would really like so I figured I would show you what I did with my mustang lights and what those are currently going for. IF anybody wanted to the be the first ranger light I would def give them a discount to help me get them going towards the ranger crowd.

I posted up my HID retrofit build on mustang forums and there seemed be some interest in kits. So I figured I would make another thread to market my headlights. The set here is smoked with satin black shrouds and reflectors but I can do it in any style headlight and tailor it to whatever you want. All kits include headlights, projectors, ballasts, bulbs, and wiring. Or you could send me your headlights. In order to offer kits for the member on a budget I will sell two kits the more expensive kit using morimoto bulbs ballasts and wiring and a cheaper kit using the popular ddm tuning bulbs ballasts and wiring. Both kits use the same projectors. Pics only show 99-04 mustang lights but possibilities are endless.

on too some pics

during the aiming process... nice clean sharp cutoff

this is a dual beam setup heres a shot of the highs

lights were sealed with rubber butyl tape (which is what oem sealant is) and then i went back over the seams with clear silicone for added measure to ensure no condensation. silicone is white in pictures but dries clear.

please excuse how dirty the car is I had to move it outside for a few days for garage space and it snowed!

some prices based of what the mustang lights go for... first ranger set would be getting some discount!

If I am supplying the headlights prices are as follows:
-$700 for morimoto projectors, morimoto bulbs, morimoto ballasts and morimoto wiring
OR
-$600 for morimoto projectors, ddm tuning bulbs, ddm tuning ballasts ddm tuning wiring

If your sending me your headlights prices are as follows:
-$600 for morimoto projectors, morimoto bulbs, morimoto ballasts and morimoto wiring
OR
-$500 for morimoto projectors, ddm tuning bulbs, ddm tuning ballasts ddm tuning wiring

if you like what you see reply here or shoot me a pm and you could have your own set!

if you would like to follow new projects and lights of mine add my page on facebook, Yuke's HID Retrofits

here are some examples of rangers with retrofits, THIS IS NOT MY WORK, for example only I think the first set is a member on here, these pictures were for example pictures only

Couple of questions....
Would you ship to Canada and also, would this design even work for us Canadians with DRLs?

Price reflects the high costs of the parts. Shoot me a pm I am willing to lower the price on the first set for a ranger to get my lights out there.

I am just starting out so I cannot afford to cover shipping at this time, If you want to ship them to canada then yes! What do you need for drls? do your turn signals act as drls stock? if so this would not affect that.

I understand parts cost a lot, and your labor isn't free, it's just that my truck will become an offroad rig toward the end of the year.

It's hard to spend that much money on custom headlights when I run the risk of breaking them on the trails

I understand, all I can say to that is run these lights on the street, you will be able to quickly tuck this wiring away and run stock lights on the trail if you wish, however back when i took my ranger in the woods I wish I had this output!

what he's asking is really cheap. For me to build headlights would be 1000$ more than he wants.

I am tempted but that's a lot of money to drop on headlights in general. I can imagen it takes a lot of time and skill.

No I don't expect you to cover shipping at all lol. I was just asking if you would be willing to ship them (on buyer's money). The DRLs use the stock halogen bulbs (the regular headlight bulbs). They run at something like half the power of the high beams or something (maybe someone can chime in and clarify the DRL setup for you)... My concern is, if someone was to install an HID kit in a ranger with the DRLs, the HIDs would flicker if the headlights were not on (meaning just the DRLs are on) because the ballast isn't recieving enough power...
So I'm not sure how it would work with the projectors because looking at your OP, it seems you are using HIDs, so if that was the case, we'd still have flickering issues, and AFAIK, there is no way to remove the DRL setup on our newer trucks because it is not a module anymore, it is computer controlled
