CLOSED/SOLD

Well I have been wanting to finally sell these things and let another member reap the benefit of "legal" bright lighting without getting flashed. (I am in no way guaranteeing you will not get a ticket if pulled over but the way I have read the law is that if the bulb is in a factory/stock housing it is legal...The only issue is that this did not come exactly as seen from the factory.)

I mounted the OEM Infinity FX projector into my '03 Ranger headlights. In reality these lights were run for about a year and I bought them new as a spare set. Basically they will fit '01+ and have only been used for about a year.

The HIDs are 4300K, which is the closest to OEM and look the brightest and most legal. I have never had any cop ask me about the lights and I have driven over 35k miles with them without hassle. I will also include and extra set of 4300K bulbs that I have laying around for your convenience if one ever burns up.

The setup is a bi-xenon setup. As it is now, the system is plug and play. If you pull the high beam leaver back the high beams will be activated. The high beams do not involve and bulb movement or extra halogen bulb, instead the cutoff shield inside the projector moves to allow more light out. I never did put the diode in to allow the low beams (power to activate the HIDs) to stay on while the solenoid is activated to make the high beams work. Without totally repeating my write-up these are aimed to my truck, which as a stock 2wd 4.0 XLT and I only had to borrow 1 adjustment **** from the light, which could be obtained from your current headlights.

Many people just slap some re-based HIDs in their stock headlights and call it good. These are the real deal and can be had for much more "professionally" by the only place I ever found to make projector headlight for '01+ rangers;
$700 here: http://www.izntrbl.com/0106-ford-ran...th=144_115_153

I am willing to entertain offers but with no labor costs on my part. I am looking to get out somewhat close to what I put into the project. Please no low ballers, this is a serious setup for someone who knows what they want of lighting on their ranger and knows what they need to get it done right.

Asking $450 OBO. For this price I will definitely include shipping unless it is out of the lower 48, then I will get a quote to confirm it is not going to kill me to sell these to elsewhere.

The write-up for the construction of these lights can be found here: http://www.rangerpowersports.com/for...d.php?t=238226

Please ask any questions you may still have. I am willing to help fellow members and finally get rid of most of my left over Ranger parts after trading it in.

I have the parts to do this mod if someone wants to do their own with brand new projectors, bulbs and ballasts that have never been used. PM me if you want them.

You'll need a new hood as well, new header panel too.
