I believe on 04+ you gotta run a wire...so for you I think it is a direct swap...but don't hold me to it...

 

Early '04's also have both wires. Mine was made in December '03 and it had the 2nd wire already in place.

 

If you have an extended cab then yes. The map lights are angled perfect. It will fit in a regular cab but not as good. To do the swap you take out your current dome light and put the mustang one in.

 

is the third brake light lens smoked or is it just clear

 

I put a mustang dome light like this in my 01 and it was a direct swap, no modification needed. The brake lights have not been smoked, they are stock but can be nightshaded.

 

How much for two bulb holders and the bulbs from the 3rd brake light?

 

dont want to seperate anything. The harness wih the light has all three bulb connectors on it, it just plugs into the existing harness i the back of the cab, no modification needed.

Hey Jazz..I'm interested in a Dome light from a mustang...I bought me a 93 Ranger and they gutted a few parts from the interior..so right now i'm in the market for a new dome light....My truck is a 93 and extended cab...should be just a swap right..any modifications? Thanks

 

On a 93 Im just not sure. I put one in my 92 and had to add a wire and that was it but 93 is a 3rd gen and my 92 was a 2nd gen. How many wires do you have in the roof? I think it will work just fine but Im not 100% sure.

 

Still have a 1 gray and 1 black Mustang dome light left.
