I'm looking for a set of factory Nerf Bars (or running boards, whatever you call them). They're the straight ones with angled ends. Mine are rusted out. If you have a set and are somewhere around Ohio or a little south of here, let me know.

RegularCab, or SuperCab? Since you said Fx4, I'll assume SuperCab. Just FYI, the rear brackets are different between 2 door SuperCab and 4 door Supercab. The actuals bars are the same between both cabs, so you could always use your current brackets if they're usable and the bars you find have the wrong brackets on them.

 

Thanks for that. It's a 2-door SuperCab. Good to know that the bars are the same, because my brackets are solid. I wonder if the bars were used on any other Fords?

The part numbers for the bars all say L5 in them, which means they were designed for a Ranger. So any other bars that are similar in looks, probably won't be a match to yours. Also keep in mind there are two different style bars for Rangers, 2001-2006, and then 2006-2011. They are different shapes, but bolt up the same way.

And then there are bars that are from Ford, but are a dealer add-on, and not from the factory. Those may mount up differently, so you need to make sure you don't have dealer add-on bars as I've seen a few Rangers with them. They look slightly different from the factory bars.
