Looking to do a bed swap - CO

I have a 2002 XLT 4x4 stepside in bright island blue. I'm looking to see if anyone with a regular bed would be interested in doing a swap. Bed, tailgate, bumper, everything. Bed is in decent shape, with no rust issues. Lots of clear coat scratches on the sides from wheeling trips, and a couple of small cracks in the fiberglass on the bottom near the bumper, I'm not expecting anything more in return. The bed liner goes with it also. PM me if interested.

Damn it, why can't you have the regular bed wanting a flareside?

Am I missing something here? You say no rust issues for the bed but weren't they fiberglass? I know you mentioned the cracks but were the floors metal or a thicker glass?

The bed is metal, the flares/fenders are fiberglass.

Ok. So inner bed walls are also metal and the fenders are attached with rivets or something?

Thanks for info. Good luck with the swap.

Sides are attached with bolts, top rails are torx screws.
Easily removable.
Good swap for anyone wanting a Steppie.

Yeah, I don't have very high hopes for this. I'm likely going to have to start checking junk yards and hope I can buy one at a decent price.

I'd take that. So far all I've found around here is white.

E-Bay has some Ranger Bed, both type.

Was out there looking around and noticed a few but to me a little high on the price.

I have not yet. There are a few around here in the junk yards, but if I'm going to have to buy one, I'd prefer one that the paint matches. I'm pretty sure any 6 foot bed after 93 will work.

If you want the spare to be under the truck watch for the lift-crank hole !
At least in my 2003 it had the hole in the Styleside bed, the Steppie I got didn''t have the hole now my spare is in the bed until I get the hole put in.

My 1997 bed is in good condition...8 out of 10, small dent /scratches, no rust....Only problem it is not the same blue color as yours is.

If interested pls contact me via my email: cbstnsmail@gmail.com and I will provide some photos.

Any pic of the "cracks in the bumper area"?

Thanks
