I'm looking to install cruise control in my '03 edge. I figured I'd check to see if anyone had a complete setup for a 3.0L sitting around before I hit up the junkyards.

I have the underhood controller/cable with the steering wheel buttons. It is off my 2000 4.0L, I was looking to get $100 shipped but Im open to offers.

 

Do you know if that setup will work on my 2003 3.0L? I'm pretty sure the cable/controller is engine specific.

 

The cable is specific so the 4.0 won't work on your 3.0. To take it one step further, you need a cable from an 02+ 3.slow Ranger.

The "controller" as you are calling it is actually called a servo and can come from many different Fords. I'm using an 98 Taurus servo.

 

If you need buttons i have some off my 99 ranger i think they should work.
