good luck on finding one of those. I doubt anyone here will ever sell one (a Level 2)... many of us pay the price to get em new. If you would like I can get you the ford part number.

Another option is to get the Hurst shifter kit,.

PS - might want to add a location to your post.....

and yeah I called the dealership and they said they wanted $400 for the shifter, crazy.

i was in the same position ( check my threads) tried for well over a year to get a used one.... no luck, in the end coughed up the money to get the hurst ( actually same money or less) well worth the money- other than the james duff traction bars i got- best bang for buck mod i think u will find for the ranger

there's a couple of reasons why i don't want to get the hurst shifter, first is that I like the look better of the FX4 shifter and second the hurst shifter might void my warranty on the truck since I heard from some people here that it will. I already had an issue with the slave cylinder squeaking and I don't want them to blame it on the hurst shifter if it comes back, lol.

The hurst won't void warranty. If they hassle you, simply put the stock shifter back in when you bring the truck in. The dealer is retarded if they blame the shifter for the many years of the faulty design of the slave cyl...the two parts are completely unrelated.

btw...thread title...you need location. do it so i dont have to lock this thread up.
