Status: Domestic I have a 1996 Ford SVT Ranger for sale, in USA - Tennessee. Mileage: 150,000 miles Engine Size: 5.0 V8 Asking price is $$9299 Seller Information: Tyler Garrett Phone: (423) 619-4085 Email: Catboy400i@aol.com Ok guys, unfortunately things have changed in my life and I got to the point where the ranger just wasn’t cutting it any more. I love the truck, it is a great daily driver and weekend warrior that could conquer pretty much anything I threw at it. However, since I own my own business that requires me to tow and haul all of the time, I really needed something bigger. I bought a ¾ ton truck and so its time for the Ranger to move on too. This truck is my baby, I daily drove it everywhere for almost 3 years and it has never let me down. It is hands down one of the most factory appearing modded trucks, meaning that all mods were done on a level that could pass as a factory option. I have so much time and effort (and a TON of money) in this truck to make it what it is that I really hate to see it go, but I simply cannot afford to have 2 trucks right now. Everything works as it should, and it is a very comfortable driver. I wouldn’t hesitate to hop in it and drive it across the country right now. The truck was just given a complete going over and was thoroughly detailed, so detailed that the seats were even removed and the carpet was shampooed. Truck was recently serviced with new fluids and all steering components are new too. Unfortunately I am going to lose my butt money wise on this truck, it is super nice, but in the end I understand that it is still a 96 Ranger. However, you can’t build this truck for twice my asking price, so whoever gets it will be getting a steal on it. Check out the long list of specs below, and keep in mind that none of this stuff is hacked, it is all professionally done and it all appears factory. Because of this, my asking price is $9,299. This is a steal on this truck, but price may be somewhat negotiable. No Trades except for maybe Mustang Cobra Parts plus cash. Im going to leave it on the forums for about a week and a half, if it doesn't sell it will be going on eBay on Monday, June 20th. Electric antenna relocated to passenger fender (like an explorer), cowl mount was shaved. Cowl Induction Hood The Bad: Sometimes it will throw a DTC (diagnostic trouble code) for a large EVAP leak. I have spent a little time looking for it, but it didn’t really bother me enough to fool with it anymore. That is the only DTC it has ever thrown for me. Also, the truck does not have Catalytic converters, but the computer will not throw codes for that so it will pass a computer test. To completely eliminate the EVAP issue I was going to have a new chip burned for the computer (only about $200) and have that function deleted. Also, this truck used to pull double duty for me, as my Daily Driver and a mild wheeler, so it does have a few dents and dings and a few scratches but nothing major at all. The driver’s door has a small dent, and there are a few small dents in the bed and one in the tailgate, but none of them are bad at all. They are not really even visible from 10 ft away, and are hard to see in the pictures but I just want to try and disclose all info as best as I can. Other than that there is nothing wrong with this truck! To see all of the photos go here: http://s508.photobucket.com/albums/s...%20for%20sale/ |

Thanks guys. It does hurt me to sell it. This truck fell into my arms a few days before a very tragic event happened in my life. It was working on this truck that got me through that in one piece. I feel that the price is very fair for what you are getting. There's about $4000 in the axles alone, so that's almost half of the asking price right there. Yeah its probably worth more, but I'm not in the best place right now as far as money goes so I need it to go pretty quickly. There is always a chance it will bring more on eBay, but Im giving you guys a chance at it first. As for the 44 front... that's about the only thing that could be better. But honestly I've never had any issues with it whatsoever. It was beefed up in all the needed places. The reason I went with that over a 44 is because it just fit... The swap was way easier, same bolt pattern, same size brakes, etc. Plus parts are available everywhere so if a problem did happen, It would be easy to fix it quickly. So that was my real reasoning behind it. I do not regret that decision at all, but a D44 would look better on paper.

beautiful truck! wish things were better around here i would own it. good luck and someone is going to get one nice truck.
damn dude im sry to hear that i wish i could take it off your hands
Somebody make me an offer. I would love to see it stay in the "family." Drove it some the other day. A/C about froze me out. Such a comfortable and fun to drive truck. Makes me wish I could keep it... oh well.
Wow awesome truck! Id jump on it if i didnt have mine already
i agree, if i didnt put a 5.0 in mine i might buy it, i do like the idea of a lifted 5.0. mines lowered because i dont do much off roading, i live in tennessee too, clarksville, and id love to see u here some day with it, i always wanted to see another 5.0 ranger in person. but they are rare, ya know? id like to race down at the strip
Well, with the gears and the few performance mods she definitely is no slouch, but... I didn't build it for speed. Hit a trail or some rocks somewhere, flip on the lockers and go show up the jeeps and sometimes buggies too. That's where this truck will shine!
Weekend bump! Would be nice for someone to pick it up this weekend. I delayed putting it on ebay since I have been so busy, but the time is coming up quick, somebody buy it out right before I have to auction it. |
love this truck. it almost looks how it should come from factory! good luck on the sell
x2. sad to see this truck up here.
super clean truck. best of luck to ya. |
Bump to top!
Make an offer, she's lonely sitting in the yard. |
Love the truck.
Then why don't you make me an offer and come pick it up! :biggthump
She is worth more then what I could offer. It would be an insult.
Bump to top. Make me an offer guys, you might be surprised.
Did you put an add on craigs list? I'm shocked you didn't sell it yet.

Ok guys, my Grandfather is in kinda a tight spot financially and I need to help him out ASAP.
Because of the situation, I am dropping the price to $8000. That is 100% FIRM! I was losing a ton of money with the listed price, but now that he is in a bad situation, I really need somebody to buy this so I can help him out. He is needing about $9000 ASAP, and I am the only person who can help, but I need somebody to pick up the truck. |
