Do you have any local Junk/Salvage yards? If you do, then check them out.
It might save you a TON on shipping costs.

With some good research on which vehicles came with the D-44 that you want, you could jump right into a JY and know what to look for.

That would be a great axle, when cut down a little on the passenger side.

Nice spare to have too.

Kind of wish I lived closer.

 

yeah it an hp axle. the only problem with the 78-79 is the wedges are cast in the axle tubes and not welded on like previous years.
