hey just a side note these wheels only fit the 4x4 rangers i tried to let my buddy borrow mine for his 2wd 08 and the didnt fit over the hubs just to let you know

 

really? is it just these wheels or all 4x4 ones? i thought the XLT 4x4 and 2WD trucks used the same wheels? I read that the Sport wheels like i have wont work, but i thought that was a caliper issue and not anything to do with the hub? darn, im confused now.

I went to the Ford website and found that these wheels are only standard/optional on 4x4 Rangers. If there is a reason for this I cannot say.

 

They offered those rims on edges, so I can't see how it's just a 4wd rim. If anything the hub would be larger in a 4wd on the front.

 

on 2wds the hub actually sticks out past the rim while 4x4 dont i have only seen these rims on 4x4 only im sure it could work with like a 1inch spacer or maybe drilling out the center of the rim to fit but than the center cap wont fit
