Refurbished Eaton M-90 supercharger never installed in bubble wrap. Bought it from jimd1050 off forums in March of this year for $400. There is a installation kit designed and sold by Ron Caster to install it on a 2002 Ford Ranger 4.0. A less expensive way to supercharge your ranger compared to the explorer express kit.

Reason for selling parts is that my 2002 Ford Ranger Fx4 was totaled as shown in pics in the other section.

Could someone elaborate on what all would have to be done to get the XCal to work on my truck?

 

just send to to like bamachips or someone that flashes tunrers and have them flash it for ur truck

 

OP...is that Xcal unlocked? If it's locked(meaning a tune is still in the truck), its $200 and you gotta send it to SCT.


$15 for a vin change, $100 for new tunes, all done via a usb cord and email. Or send it in.

It is possible that the tunes for the '02 4.0 and the '03 4.0 are the same, if that's the case, you dont need tunes. Just a vin change.

$100 for 3 from Bama, I think $75 from Rogue.

 

I forgot the tunes were that much so to compensate I will take $200 plus shipping. I also will take into consideration best offers as I have no use for this stuff.

 

Is it for manual or auto tranny X-cal? And not specified if it's unlocked or not?

 

GOD DAMIT! If t wasent for me trying to pay off my truck I would scoop that Eaton up in a heart beat :(

 

It still has tunes on it for my old truck which was a 2002 Ford Ranger FX4 with twin sticks, 4.10 rearend, 275/70r17 tires, volant intake, jba headers and magnaflow exhaust. 93 performance, 93 torque, and 87 performance were the tunes.

 

I thought it doesn't matter if it's for a manual or automatic? When you get the new tunes for it you can change that setting then.

So sorta confused on whether or not the x-cal is locked or not. If i totaled my truck and never set it back to factory tune is it locked? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes which really pisses me off because it would have been good to know and now i will have to sell this for next to nothing but oh well you live and learn.
