so whats the ladder gonna look like you bulding to get in?
Awesome progress man, it will be done before we know it. Would be sweet if you could throw something like an ARB or RoadArmor type bumper together for the front for the winch and added protetection.

Naw i don't want anything too gawky, i might make some small type of bumper to atleast go under the winch and angle upwards torwards the corners/headlights. I'd use the tow-hook mounting spots since i would get d-ring shackles on the bumper.

Why me?
I called Trailready instead of Shaffer's who i ordered the beadlocks from, asking how the wheels were coming and if they had been shipped yet. Guy told me they had the parts in stock, it was a "pending" order and had not had approval from Shaffer's to ship them yet. He says I need to call Shaffer's to figure out why the beadlocks had not been approved to ship.
So I call shaffer's and the guy takes down my number says he'll call trailready and he'll call me back. Well about 30 seconds later another guy from shaffer's calls me back and says that Trailready had the wrong card number from shaffer's. Everything is a done deal now, and they will ship out today.
They both said shipping will take about 3 days....the countdown begins...
EDIT: Makes me wonder, how long have my wheels been done in stock, just sitting there, and how much longer would they have been sitting there, if I had not called trailready directly...

Work is going to suck cuz all i'll be thinking about is getting those damn things painted and mounted, so I can get them balanced on saturday. but My luck they won't get here till next week. So i'm trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Well I made a sweet photshop pic of where i'm going to cut the rear fenders, more.
No 'glass, thats why i sold the front glass, it would get destroyed on my truck slammin into rocks/trees.

Hey jey, I have an idea you might be prevelant to. Theres a guy out in cali who's getting ready to make Urethane fenders for our rangers. Same styles as Fiberglass but urethane. The kind that can bend, be smashed, all kinds of **** done to it and pretty much at the same price as fiberglass. Thought you might want to be interested in that.
Interesting, but they do seem like it would be very flimsy without any kind of supports.
Also, they would probably only be made in flared/raised versions, I would just want factory replacements, since i'm trying to stay narrow as possible on the body side of things.

Hahaha i know i'm a bastard. It didn't get repo'd. I just told my g/f to post that while i was bolting the beadlocks together.
Got the wheels on, and drove it around the yard. Got it stuck too (no front driveshaft yet lol).
The wheels...

The beadlock rings, that my lovely assistant (my g/f) painted for me while I was at work

Dark, but one done, and one mounted!

Bling.

Both front tires on...

My lovely assistant threading on the lugnuts finger tight.

No more jackstands. Anywhere.

Profile.

My beautiful g/f jen. (in my big puffy carhardt jacket lol)

Poser flex, i'm on top of 3 31" MT/R's haha! (There is ALOT more travel left...)

Hey, did your butt lose weight?

stuck, front tires down a 10" drop off and rear tires on concrete, and no 4wd = stuckage already.

I'm gonna make some rock sliders for it, step bars are for street trucks man.
Evan i'll get the measurements in a little bit, I gotta run to home-depot and get a 90* fitting for my hydro assist, the line coming out of the side of the box touches the tire when i barely turn right.
All my pictures are night shots cuz i get off work at 6 and when i get something done to take pics of it, it's night time! I actually took 2 day pics this morning b4 i went to work that i'll post later tonight.
Thanks for all the compliments.
I should be driving it to get some dinner later on tonight.
D. You don't wanna know her mom, she's a HUUUGGGEEE *****.
As far as shocks, i'm gonna run the stock upper mounts in the rear and just get some tabs to weld onto the tubes. I'm using the shock mounts that are on the waggy spring plates for the front, and i'm getting Mild2Wild to bend me some hoops up. I can't get either the tabs nor the hoop bent up till after christmas, the weekend holiday and my work schedule prevent me from making a trip over there.
